It's a holiday miracle! It's a polar vor-text! It's RUI x WR as the Wit Rabbit reading series invades the Sheffield's Smoker Room for a special crossover episode. (Barbecued rabbit jokes will not be tolerated.)
December's theme is "Wit Christmas," and we're dreaming of Wit Rabbit hosts Sara Wainscott and Sarah Meltzer reading with WR luminaries Amanda Marbais and Daniela Czarny. Come early if you want a seat by the fire. RUI features readings of original short stories plus short-short excerpts of published work related to a theme of the month with trivia contests where you can win books and other prizes. We're in the Smoker Room Bar room off the courtyard patio at Sheffield's, 3258 N. Sheffield Ave. Grab a seat and a bite to eat at 7 pm; readings start at 7:30. There is a $3 cover. 21+
